Mymoon Salvage Mesa, AZ.

Mymoon Salvage is a family owned business.  My husband and I have been collecting great old vintage furniture and architectural and antique items all our married lives...44yrs to be exact! We have raised six kids and have twenty two  perfect grandchildren. We are pretty "artsy fartsy" and eclectic when it comes to collecting, designing and restoring. We love items with a story behind it and it's original purpose. Here are just a few photos of our1/2 acre urban farm and 1930's home right in downtown Mesa, AZ. We have just enough land for numerous fruit and citrus trees, grape vines, a garden, peacocks, chickens, turkeys, two dogs and a parrot. Life is good! Thank you for stopping by. I'm pretty new at this blogging stuff. I hope you will enjoy and return often!

Here are a few pics of vignettes from some of our past markets.

In this photo on the right. That is an old bar we dug out of an abandoned building. The man we bought it from was an old prospector who bought this whole ghost town. We were in heaven, he did not like people in general, but for some reason liked us. Yay!

In the photo above, the cabinet on the left is an old incubator, inside are amazing wire shelves and is lined with tin. The person that bought it was going to use it in her kitchen for a pantry.  The old green metal desk was converted into an island by my husband and was purchased by Coley Arnold, the co-owner of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market. It has been featured in numerous magazines and internet sites.
